Sharon Wisnieski, OTR, MS, President

Sharon is a pediatric occupational therapist and clinic founder with over 25 years of experience supporting children and families through thoughtful, highly skilled care. Her work is grounded in the belief that exceptional outcomes come from clinical excellence paired with genuine connection, and this philosophy has shaped both her practice and the culture of the clinic she leads.

Sharon’s professional background includes inpatient and outpatient pediatric therapy, home-based and aquatic services, collegiate teaching, and professional speaking. She has held clinical and academic roles at respected institutions such as Texas Children’s Hospital, Dell Children’s Hospital (formerly Children’s Hospital of Austin), private pediatric clinics, and the University of St. Augustine. This breadth of experience allows her to approach each child with a deep understanding of development, medical complexity, and family dynamics.

She has extensive experience working with infants, children, and adolescents with needs including infant feeding and feeding aversion, brachial plexus injury, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, dysgraphia, ataxia, juvenile arthritis, and splinting needs. Families are drawn to Sharon for her calm expertise, clear communication, and ability to see the whole child—not just a diagnosis.

In addition to her clinical work, Sharon is a trusted mentor and leader within the pediatric therapy community. She has served as Vice Chair of the Capital Centex District of the Texas Occupational Therapy Association and regularly presents to parent and professional groups throughout the Austin area, sharing practical knowledge and advocating for high standards of care.

Sharon currently provides therapy and mentorship at Line Leader, a pediatric clinic that recently celebrated 16 years of dedicated service to children and families. Under her leadership, Line Leader has become known for its warm, welcoming environment, highly skilled clinicians, and long-standing relationships with families and referral partners. The clinic’s longevity reflects a commitment to consistency, integrity, and care that families can trust over time.

While Sharon continues to support families directly, she is equally focused on mentoring clinicians and building sustainable systems that ensure every child receives the same level of thoughtful, high-quality care—now and in the future. This balance of heart-centered care and strong leadership has allowed Line Leader to grow with intention while preserving the values families know and love.

Outside of the clinic, Sharon enjoys making memories with her husband, two children, and two dogs—bringing the same sense of presence and care to her personal life that she brings to the families she serves.
